There is no single image that describes the positive impact of a donation to United Way of York Region. The following information is intended as a snapshot of the many ways in which the UWYR Community Fund makes a difference in our communities every day.

We hope it helps you develop meaningful messages that resonate with the values and priorities of the donors you work with.

  • provides 2.5 hours of crisis intervention to people victimized by tragic circumstances, crime or domestic violence. (This works out to approximately $2.38 per pay over 26 pay periods).
