Donor Accountability
United Way of York Region ensures responsible stewardship of your donation through extensive volunteer review, evaluation and due diligence of all our funded agencies. United Way is vigilant in assessing where need is the greatest. We conduct a vigorous review of all funding applications to ensure programs you support are efficient and effective.
Message from the Treasurer
As a donor, I want to know my support makes a difference in the community. I insist on knowing how my donation is spent.
I encourage all donors to be vigilant.
I am proud to be a member of the United Way of York Region Board of Directors and serve as the organization’s Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair. United Way is effective and efficient…and just as importantly, it is diligent in ensuring the agencies that receive funding maintain the same high standards.
